Started off with the X-ray and 6.6 as the wind was abit light to start off. I nicley powerd and enjoyed the first half hour. the wind then picked up and although not overpowerd the board just does not like the swell. So after afew scary rides I swopped for my 255 and 5.8. although not qite good enough to be well powered it was much better than my big kit. after a bit of adjusting i got the my kit just right and had the best session i have had for ages. The ocean is no longer as daunting as before and I starting to hit the swell with vigour and attempting some good air time. I still have a lot to learn like pulling offall my gybes and getting more waverides.

Brilliant cant wait for my next session.
